Reading all the self-help advice on the web can be overwhelming. Tip after tip after tip can make things more complicated than they need to be. Instead of trying to cram every single new habit, and strategy that you learn in your daily routine, start with these three and they will immediately change your life.
1 – Stop Complaining
If you constantly focus on the positive, positive things will happen for you. If you constantly focus on the negative, negative things will happen to you. It’s a fundamental law of the Universe. Complaining does nothing but keep you focused on the negative. The more you complain, the more you attract negative energy. Sure you may have a legitimate reason to have issues with something, but you must learn to let it go and think of something positive. Complaining is addictive so don’t get frustrated if you struggle cutting it out. It will take time, but when you stop, you’ll begin to change your life almost immediately.
2 – Change Your Life by Letting Go of Control
Much of our frustration comes from things we cannot control. It’s human nature to want to control our circumstances, but the reality is that we control very little. The only thing you have 100% ownership of is your own actions and feelings. You’ll begin living a much simpler, less stressful life as soon as you understand that. Let it go.

3 – Say No
You can’t always be a people pleaser. Learn to say no and your life will become much happier. Sometimes you have to realize that not everyone is going to like you or agree with you, no matter how many times you try to please them. Remember this statistic, 25% of people in your life won’t like you no matter what you do. 25% of people won’t like you but can be convinced to like you. Another 25% of people will like you but can end up not liking you. Then there are 25% of people in your life that will like you no matter what. If you are a yes man or woman, stop it. Saying no at times will free up time, frustration and stress from your life.
